Rob Haak
CEO
Rob works primarily in the sales and market analysis of advanced electronics, MEMS, photovoltaics, and automotive.
Prior to founding Insight interAsia, Rob worked in Tokyo for the Asian Technology Information Program (ATIP) where he was also the Beijing Office chief representative. During his career he has also been based in Seoul for the Nippon Sanso Group and in Taiwan for Emcore Corporation. He has also been based in Seoul, Singapore, Hong Kong, and Kuala Lumpur. Rob has traveled in over 60 countries, primarily as a technical sales/marketing representative in the semiconductor equipment & materials, MEMS, and nanotech marketplace.
Rob’s formal education includes a BS in Engineering from Tulane University in New Orleans, USA and an MBA in Management of Technology and Corporate Finance from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, USA.

Victor G. Stickel, Jr. Ph.D.
Managing Director – STRATIS/SIRS
Dr. Stickel oversees the STRATIS and SIRS divisions of Insight interAsia.
He has 25+ years of experience encompassing executive management, R&D/engineering, technology analysis and product and business development/marketing in both the United States and Asia including Japan, China, South Korea, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, and Mongolia.
He has worked as a researcher in the fields of Chaotic Fluid Dynamics and Radiation Heat Transfer and received fellowships from the National Science Foundation, the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, Columbia University and Rice University and has held a Post-Doctoral appointment at Keio University in Tokyo , Japan. His industry experience includes engineering and project management appointments at conglomerate, Harsco Corporation, and defense contractor General Dynamics in the USA.
During his residence in Asia, he worked as a Sr. Technology Analyst for the Asian Technology Information Program in Tokyo, Japan, the Director of International Business Development/Marketing for Suruga Mongol, LLC in Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia and the Chief Technology Officer for the Asian (Hong Kong-based) subsidiary of U.S. start-up Ceratech, Inc. His industry experience includes Chemical (Powder Manufacturing), Aerospace, Automotive (Defense), Biotechnology, High Performance Computing, Robotics, and Construction.
Dr. Stickel received a B.S. degree from Lehigh University, an M.A.S. degree from Johns Hopkins University, and M.S. degree from Rice University and a Ph.D. degree from Columbia University. Additionally, he speaks fluent Japanese and conversational Chinese (Mandarin) and Mongolian languages.

Harumi Kato (加藤 春美)Japan Country Manager (日本担当)
Harumi is responsible for our sales/marketing activities in the Japan domestic market, as well as liaising with our clients based in Japan who we assist with exporting to other markets in Asia.
Previously, Harumi worked with the Asian Technology Information Program in Tokyo. She is fluent in Japanese and English and learns new technologies easily.

Y.B. Park (박용범)
Korea Country Manager
Y.B. brings 20 years of experience to Insight interAsia, where his technical specialty is semiconductor technology and related electronics such as photovoltaics, LEDs, and LCDs.
Previously, YB worked in R&D and engineering at Samsung Electronics. He is fluent in Korean and English and has conversational Japanese skill.

Mohan Tilak
India Country Manager
Mohan has 20 years of experience in electronics, telecommunications, digital signal processing, and embedded software. He also has extensive experience in business development of specialized electronics products, components, and software markets in India, Japan, and the USA. Previously, Mohan worked as India Country Manager for Trinity Convergence Inc, USA. Mohan is also fluent in Japanese and is an excellent coordinator of our activities in the increasingly important market of India.

Farah Shahab
Singapore Country Manager 
Farah is the Singapore Country Manager for Insight interAsia Pte Ltd. She manages our technical sales and marketing efforts in Singapore and Malaysia and liaises with our American and European principals/suppliers regarding technical support for our local customers.
Technically savvy, Farah also manages the marketing effort for our Singaporean website development and IT support services division, INCUBED.
Farah has 18 years of experience in marketing, event planning, and administration. Before joining Insight interAsia, she worked for the American Chamber of Commerce in Singapore and in the airline industry. She is fluent in English and Malay.

Biopharma Specialist
Julio is our pharmaceutical and biomedical device manufacturing expert. Southeast Asia, and Singapore in particularly, have started investing aggressively in bio-related activities. Chris Daverse
US Government Affairs & Business Development
Chris is the coordinator of our PARTNER+D business unit. He is based in Austin, TX and is frequently in Washington, DC meeting with government clients and developing new opportunities for companies that we represent.
Chris has a long history working in the semiconductor and advanced electronics industries–and those industries’ government relations–having worked with SRC, SEMATECH, SRC, SAIC, and various private sector companies. He has a BS in Physics from Allegheny College.
